- Installation of IT Products for the Department of Defence
Information Technology Insurance
FTA’s comments:
Sometimes brokers are surprised that FTA offers IT liability, but we sure do, and we write it very competitively as well!
This broker was very unhappy with the service they received from their other insurer and asked us to provide them with a quote instead. Their client has a contract with the Department of Defence for the installation of IT Products, and as FTA insures many other similar IT contractors, this was an easy win-win situation for all parties involved! Coverage was placed for $3,5K with a $5M limit.

Association Liability
FTA’s comments:
This insured already has another policy with FTA and was looking to place their Association Liability with us as well. Seeking a $10M limit with various sub-limits, we were able to promptly quote this insured and obtain binding instructions within 3 days. - Media & Entertainment
Management Liability
FTA’s comments:
This broker was seeking competitive ML terms for one of their larger clients in the media and entertainment industry. Although FTA usually target SME risks, we can certainly write larger corporate risks as well. Combined with our ability to assess the clients’ needs, we can often find a solution together with the broker. Coverage for this client was subsequently placed with a $10M limit at around $9K. - Agricultural Consultant
Professional Indemnity Insurance
FTA’s comments:
This broker was seeking a PI quote for a company that is providing advice to Agricultural businesses and auditing services in Environmental Management Systems. They also have an overseas income component that they were seeking coverage for. FTA was able to provide coverage for all their business activities and the PI policy was bound for a $1M limit with a low premium of $800.We have a very broad appetite for a wide range of occupations
