Brad Bain

I began my insurance career in 2011 with a then up-and-coming insurer in the Australian market. Since then, I’ve worked my way through a variety of underwriting roles, gaining experience across both the National Facilities division and the NSW Open Market team.

In 2022, I joined the Sydney team at FTA Insurance, bringing with me over a decade of industry knowledge, practical underwriting expertise, and a genuine passion for helping brokers find the right solutions.

Throughout my career I’ve built strong, long-lasting relationships with brokers, and I like to think a positive attitude and an approachable manner have had a lot to do with it. Whether it’s navigating a tricky risk or getting a deal across the line, I’m always happy to lend a hand.

When I’m not catching up with family and friends, I’m usually knee-deep in my latest DIY project or spending time in the garage with one of my classic cars. Whether I’m restoring, repairing, or simply enjoying a drive, anything with an engine is likely to have my attention. If there’s a toolbox nearby, chances are I won’t be too far away!
