Jonathan Cruz

I began my career in the insurance industry as an administrative assistant before moving into broking, specialising in Professional Indemnity and IT risks. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work across both national and international brokerages, gaining broad industry experience and insight along the way.

After spending a decade in Financial Lines broking - predominantly focused on Professional Indemnity within the construction sector - I transitioned into underwriting in 2021, joining FTA Insurance.

These experiences have provided a strong foundation for my current role as Senior Underwriter (NSW), and I’m excited about the opportunities and challenges ahead as I continue to grow within the industry.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending weekends on the golf course when the weather is good, and the occasional Cars and Coffee event to enjoy a good brew and sweet treat.
