Rachel Macionis brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience to her role at FTA. She began her career as a box assistant at Lloyd's of London before transitioning into underwriting, drawn by the variety and complexity of risk. In 2008, she relocated to Australia to expand her expertise in the local market.
Rachel joined FTA in 2021 as Queensland Underwriting Manager, specialising in financial lines with a particular focus on construction risks. Known for her friendly approach, fast turnaround times and broker support, she quickly built a strong reputation within FTA and across the wider industry. She has since been appointed National Financial Lines Manager, where she applies her depth of knowledge to support and develop the team.
Outside of work, Rachel loves to travel the world with her family and can often be found on the sporting field playing footy or cricket with her son, or out running local trails, always on the lookout for her next challenge.
